He has been working as project manager for the last eight years, and the biggest project to date managed by him as project manager was just over USD200m. He is a certified project manager professional (PMP), and is registered with the SACPCMP as professional construction project manager.
Jerry qualified as a chemical engineering from the University of Pretoria, and worked for the first 8 years of his career in the manufacturing environment; first at an iron and steel mill and then at a paper and pulp mill. During this time he worked on the utilities side, and gained experience in water and effluent systems, gas systems, energy management and environmental control and management. During this time he also completed his Honours in chemical engineering, specialising in environmental engineering.
